Awards/Competitive Wins: Many wins and age group placements. Proudest win: 2004 Great Skate of Texas - hawking Tonya Guadiz at the line for the win!
Most Memorable Incident: Being the 1st female skater to climb Mt. San Miguel on inlines in Colombia in 2010 and nearly passing out twice on the way to the top.
What do you get from Skating: A sense of freedom, inner-strength and family.
Would like to do this Year in Skating: Improve my time at the Silver Strand race in San Diego in November.
Coolest Accomplishment: Living a fulfilled life. And never DNF'ing in any race that I have entered (over 130 outdoor races)!

Helpful advice to other skaters/ Beginners: Take a lesson from an experienced skater. Also, learn to skate with the love of skating and you'll stick with it.
